Moody in a modern way. Establishes both vertical lines (the vases) and horizontal lines (the book case) and then disrupts those lines with the chaotic plant shape. The backdrop of a textural painting in was a good choice so that the play of lines takes center stage. Even though I find the plant disturbing, and the painting unpleasantly mucky, this composition is so interesting and so balanced that I MUST acknowledge the artistry at work!
This vignette says so much with so little. The aged vintage fan has both patina and engaging shapes that imply motion. The graphic design of the book titles have much panache. The clock looks like it has stories to tell. Maybe even juicy, whispered stories. The succulent, well it lent some color to the photo, but I hope it was a faux plant or it wouldn't last long. Though shalt not kill plants to create interior design moments! lol
