I winter pieces of all my garden succulents in a long windowbox-type container. Twelve 3.5 inch square pots just fill it perfectly, and each pot gets a different succulent. It looks so cute that I almost hate to plant them outdoors when spring comes. Use LOTS of sand in the soil, water sparingly, and give the most sun you can. Luckily, succulents are very adaptable to 2X/yr transplantation. Now if I can just get the squirrels and deer to stop nibbling these while they summer outdoors!!
