Bisque ( not almond) gives a soft not so stark white finish as an alternative to stainless steel. Also looks awesome with the new polished gold hardware and faucet look! Classy!

Virtually no one has mentioned slate appliances. I currently have white, which seem very stark to me. Tried a stainless fridge which i returned as defective. Am debating about getting slate, as my cabinets have a touch of brown, the chairs are brown and the backsplash has a rosy, grey, tan feel. Counter is off-white with beige and gray. Any thoughts?

I think slate would look great with what you have going on in your kitchen. We have the slate appliances and I am really happy with them. It's been 1.5 yrs. We have gray cabinets, white quartz countertops with flecks of gray, and will have gray/blue glass tile backsplash.
