A friend of mine uses the OHIO motto. Only Handle Items Once. Sometimes

it's difficult to do, but other times you can put it back in it's place, instead of putting it somewhere else first - if that makes sense.

I pulled EVERYTHING out of my pantry yesterday. Washing serving wear, laundering napkins, dusting everything....this is going to take at least 3 days. You should have sent this out yesterday. :D

If your shelter doesn’t want linens, advertise on Craigslist/free stuff (or other local social sites) for volunteers who keep your neighborhoods free of unwanted animals. There are dozens of small groups who work with animals in MOST areas. Sheets are cut to cover feral traps giving scared animals a more secure feeling. I, myself, get strays I think will find homes neutered, and foster for a time while trying to find homes. MANY people or small groups WOULD want old blankets and other linens.
