Reply to: @Jill Hilts your floors look great! seems like a quality French Oak product! @jysoccer Since Reward Anzio has rustic grade, you should expect to have knots around 1/3 of your overall planks. If you want knot-free, you should look for a different collection or brand that carry select grade or better so that you don't have to worry about knots on your floors. Couple of recommended brands that we've worked with: Coswick, Preverco, Graf, Mirage, etc.

Reply to: sorry you hate it. if you want to change it, I'd do one of these Calacatta linear tile. it's warmer than a carrara and would go w/your countertop. Notice the glass in the doors. I'd still do that to at least two of your upper doors I love this marble chevron too Nabi-Arabesque w/marble and ceramic nabi Harlequin. I love this one too. it comes in colors or a Natural white. Ditto the Nabi Jewel. I have samples of both of these since you want to keep the black hardware, you could go w/this matte black/charcoal tile from Seneca (or look at Bedrosians Makoto tile in black) seneca tiles, brushed nickel metallic. Finger Tiles. Sevilla kitkat I like a nice black tile in a herringbone w/white cabs or try a black/whtie cement tile.

It is a low-fired terracotta that is used throughout morocco for all applications- floor and wall, interior and exterior, and water treatments ( pools and fountains ). available in a variety of sizes, and colors, zellige is a prestigious architectural finish for the finest projects. they may be installed using most industry accepted processes, typical for standard ceramic installation on a variety of substrates. however, the Eastern earthenware tiles are not the same as the zellige. so maybe those are sourced in vietnam. the glazing looks to be the same glaze that they do on those ceramic pots that you see everywhere. Reply to: raee_gw Simply White is not yellow. It leans toward the warm side of neutral, (as opposed to a cooler white like Chantilly) but in no way does it appear yellow. I have it throughout my home w/gray (in my kitchen) and It's on my wall and all of the trim. please show me the yellow? If you notice the portion of the wall where the lightbulb hits it, it appears yellow. that's because it's a low-light, yellow based bulb. (the canned bulbs are over 4000K) if you have bulbs in your house under 3500K, then any white is going to appear yellow.

Reply to: Engineered is wood . it's just layers of thinner wood glued together. often it's better than a solid wood since it takes expansion and contraction better. I did the wide plank french oak on my floors and love them. It's Calif. Classics, Mediterranean collection . they have at least 12 other colors in that line. these are all similar looks by diff brands. maybe check out a flooring store and bring home some samples? see what you like? Personally I despise vinyl, but that's me. (unless you can find a really really good quality that looks like the wood, but then you're paying just as much as you would for real wood!)

Reply to: @scovan sorry for delayed response. Here are some finished pics of Silestone Calacatta Gold in SUEDE finish for countertops and backsplash in 12mm thickness. I have been very happy with it for past 4 months. Pretty much perfect and exactly how I wanted it. Hasnt stained at all and very easy to maintain. No issues with fingerprints or cleaning. High rec the suede finish.

Reply to: I photo shopped a pic of babylon onto a pic I took of these marble tiles (Kalta Bianco) I found at my tile place. I think the colors are perfect w/your countertop. (and yes, you can mix the two!) with the white cabs , I think these would make a great choice. see if you could buy your own tile and have them install it. (or forgo the backsplash altogether and do what you like after you move in) I also like this design called finger tiles (but NOT in the blue obviously ) w/your quartz.

Reply to: We are finally done!!! We used the same quartzite in kitchen, laundry, pantry and guest bath as the slabs were so large. We ended up having everything leathered and love it! (they were purchased polished)

Reply to: is this the babylon gray quartz? all of these say Babylon Gray. it wold appear babylon has a bit of a brown undertone to it. i love the look of this one. it's a crisper white, more modern splash see if you could buy your own tile and have them install it. (or forgo the backsplash altogether and do what you like after you move in) your photos are really small, and the tile looks green. are they? they resemble pool tiles. what are the other choices? hard to get an idea of what the true colors are based on your photos

What is going on the floors? I can't remember if you mentioned it. If you want a more modern quartz, did I mention the Silestone Eternal Collection line to you? I have the 2nd one, the Serena, in a matte finish. (comes polished too) I love it. I almost got the Charcoal but had a lot of other dark elements already. some other quartz options This one is porcelain, and looks just like calacatta marble. Caesarstone- Symphony Infinity Quartzite Sea Pearl Quartzite. other random quartz

Reply to: i am a big fan of the taj majal on black. i am putting the lightest portion of this slab (perla venata - TM family) on charcoal black island with french oak floor. still deciding on whether to use gold pulls and lightening to accent as i wasn’t to warm it up - also torn on dark or light sink. if i go with gold i will likely go with light and bright sink.
