@pipsyple Yes, many plants can grow in the shade as well as sun. Do remember, they don't do as well in growth in the shade as they do in sunlight. Below are two photos of a couple of Southern Magnolias on my property in Texas. The large one gets sunlight pretty much all day long. The smaller one in the woods only get filtered sunlight. The one in the woods is older than the one in the sunlight. I transplanted the larger one 21 years ago (as a baby) from the same woods where the smaller one (was too large to transplant at the time) is located.
