Casita 2017
I would like to plan for and nice spaces like this.
TV, spa style
This is too large but the shower and steam room can be one. Need to take a photo of the Santaluz steam room.
Tile
This is the type of counter/ wet bar that I envision for the upstairs bedroom/ office.
We need shade out by the hot tub
The sink is a little silly for me, but I love the brick and cubbies, the table and art...
I love tile that goes high on the wall.
Like all of this - not as fresh and modern as we are thinking but consistent with the existing house.
The little build in cubby is darling.
I like having a little bit of an outdoor entrance and this could be incorporated nicely for a portion of the spa bathroom below.
Discuss the upstairs and style. I could see the side door implemented on the other side of the Casita.
Love the doors and the style. Perhaps for the piano room?
This staircase is hidden which is probably what we would need to do to get it approved.
Example of cozy fireplace for office/bedroom - upstairs.
I love everything about this space. Especially the door and light fixture.
I truly can't decide if my office should have the view or the exercise room but this shows a compact way of incorporating a desk that enjoys a view.
This would be my idea of the bedroom if I didn't have to share it with my office.
I like the antique bench and the idea of a tapestry - not this tapestry.
This is too dark and dreary, we want a fresher modern look, but I like the use of space and the creation of the little room on the side.
Nice placement of TV near poker table.
This has a lot of our functional elements with wine room off to side (our is more of a wine closet). I like having a TV for what would be our kitchen, but also viewable from the room.
In this approach you enter the wine room through the bar. I prefer it is off of the main room, but this is an option if needed to make things work. In our case, we would have more of a kitchen behind. I am not sure I like this U shape of the bar but it does lend to better conversation.
I like that they created a nook for the bar and I could see how this could lend to a galley kitchen in our implementation. We don't want the bar area huge. Fours stools is probably about right.
This has a lot of the functional elements we want. Style is a little dark and not fresh enough. For the movie room I would prefer this is a separate space so that it can also be a legal bedroom.
Upstairs access from what would be our pool area, coverage/ shade provided by balcony.
Low water evaporation, style
Windows above door
