A house with so many glass windows must have an awesome view outside to warrant such a design.

Oh my goodness, I'm in love. This home is gorgeous. One question, though: what is the solid wall right next to the entrance?

@Molly Grace Finn: It's a buffet and display place. The wall allowed the buffet to be "floating" and also protects foods from the back door as well as separate it from the open spaces, yet be open for cruising purposes. Interesting design. You can see additional photos and the floor plan on Hammer Architect website.
