Just got back to this today. For those who wondered where I got the workbench, here's the link:

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0170F49AO/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 (manufacturer: Trinity)

I have to warn you, it takes one person to assemble, but two people to turn it over and set it up on its feet. I didn't need the wheels which are available through the manufacturer. Two people will be needed to adjust the height, too. This sucker is heavy. At some point, I'll lower it to table height and use regular seating, but so far, we find the steel stools comfortable enough for quick meals or decorating cakes/cookies.

Love the table/ countertop workspace. Did you have the table with quartz top custom made or is available to purchase?

The kitchen island has to be functional and the right size so you can have enough space to move around.
