Some great bathrooms but I just have to get this off my chest and secretly tell SOMEone that I really hate shiplap!!!! I don't get it. It doesn't do a thing for any space I've seen that wouldn't have looked fine with just a plain wall. Maybe it's to disguise things, I don't know but it's everywhere, rips out hair, runs out of shiplap rooms screaming look away it's hideous!!!

I think shiplap was invented by those little house spiders that like to nest in the corners of the ceiling and wanted more cracks to hide in. It does add some texture, and it fits certain styles very well (beach cottages and ship captain's homes near the sea), but in a suburban tract home, it looks odd to me, too. My childhood home went on the market after a really cheap flip job, and they have it there in a 1890's rural farmhouse that has been remodeled to be modern. It just looks weird in some spaces! And... spiders!

Numbers 5 and 11 are my favorites. I like the streamlined looks. The herringbone in No. 5 is so good looking;very artistic.
