Hiring Sean Caissie was the best thing we could have done for our renovation. This was our biggest renovation, it included new hardwood floors throughout, 3 bathrooms, fireplace, doors, trim...everything but the kitchen sink, the kitchen was done 6yrs previous. He completed within budget for both time and cost. Sean was a standout and is a class act but I can't say enough about his crew and sub-trades, all very polite, courteous and most importantly, on time. They were in Monday to Friday, first thing at 8am and didn't leave until 5pm, sometimes later. Sean quite often came on Saturdays to prep for the coming week. Who does that? If I could give Caissie Construction a higher than 5 rating I would.

I had spent a long time trying to find a quality person at a reasonable price and I was very glad to have Sean help me out. The project was done at a professional level. All the details were done right. Sean was professional, listened and did absolutely everything I had asked for. It was a pleasure to interact with Sean and I would highly recommend him to others. Sean was hired to do the window trim, base boards, window stools and crown molding.

Sean Caissie has done a lot of great work for us so we can highly recommend him. He has a very wide range of skills including tiling, framing, drywall, electric, plumbing (I'm sure there's more) and is proactive and works quickly and efficiently. He is completely trustworthy and has excellent work ethics.

Sean has done work for us several times. This most recent time, he renovated the kitchen and bathroom in our basement suite. The work was done on time, on budget, and high quality. He is easy to communicate with and understood the requirements and scope for our project. We had a strict deadline for him to finish the work, and he was able to finish ahead of the deadline. I would strongly recommend Sean as a contractor.

Sean and I have worked on a couple of projects and he is great at what he does. I enjoy helping him plan renos and he completes the picture I help him with in such an awesome way. I recommend him highly!

Sean has renovated most of our home over the past year (kitchen, bathrooms, flooring, interior and exterior doors). Sean Caissie handled a renovation project for us that included 2 bathroom renos and the corrections of a previous reno project conducted by a different contractor. Sean is a consummate professional with a very strong knowledge of all areas of contracting. He helped us greatly as we were uncertain of several design elements and he was able to sit down with us and advise us of his experiences which then helped us to avoid several serious design flaws. During the construction process, Sean and all of his sub-contractors were extremely polite and courteous, taking the time each day to clean up and seal off work areas to minimize impact on our living space. As with almost all projects, timelines did not follow the exact schedule that we laid out during the quotation process, however Sean was very good about keeping us informed regarding the work and shifting timelines. Sean went to extraordinary lengths to ensure that our key timelines were met and in some cases worked weekends and evenings to make sure our project was done on time. Sean worked with us near the end of the project to develop a final deficiency list and then to get it completed right away. Most contractors we have used seem to have a tough time coming back for the final deficiencies. In fact, Sean not only completed all of the project deficiencies for his project, but also wrapped up all the project deficiencies for our previous reno! Sean is a fantastic contractor and his workmanship is outstanding, however the biggest plus in hiring Sean is that he, himself is an absolute professional and a gentleman. I cannot thank him enough for the fantastic work he did for us, turning 2 old bathrooms into 2 modern masterpieces and working with us to stay within our budget.

Sean and team completely renovated three bathrooms for us. Sean provided us with a turnkey solution. We picked the tile and paint colors and his team did the rest. Sean and his people are very courteous, professional, timely and honest. The work included tiling, lighting, flooring (including in floor heating), fixtures and building cabinets and shelving. He also helped us reuse materials when appropriate.

We recently used Caissie Construction for a substantial renovation project within our 48 year old home. Comprehensive kitchen, and bathroom (2), renovations were among the major facets of our project. Window, electrical, plumbing, and flooring upgrades were also involved. Sean came well recommended by several office colleagues who had used his services and we too were very pleased with the results. Sean and his team were able to complete the projects on time and within the proposed budgets. We appreciated Sean’s pleasant personality and his ability to accommodate our additional requests as they came up. Sean also has a strong sense of integrity in his work and several times exceeded our expectations with his commitment and professionalism. Here is an example we would like to highlight - midway through our project we noticed a significant water leak in our basement on Christmas day. When the water continued to leak after my husband turned off the main valve, he called Sean for guidance. Sean was at our home within 30 minutes and immediately got to work removing drywall to identify the source of the leak, and calling the city emergency line to have the water main shut off. We are very grateful that he gave up his precious family time on Christmas day to help avoid what could have been a major issue. We are very happy to recommend Sean Caissie!!

I am very pleased with the result of the bathroom renovations Sean provided. He takes the time to do the job right and keeps the workspace clean. I plan to engage him in future projects.

Caissie Construction did a wonderful job on our main floor bathroom. Excellent work at a fair price. Stuck to the schedule and price quoted and handled minor change orders and additional work with no problems. A pleasure to work with and would do so again.
