My wife and I talked with several landscapers to redo a partial front yard landscaping. I know it wasn't the biggest job ShutLawn had this summer but you couldn't tell the way Colby worked with us. He was attentive to what we wanted and respectfully made suggestions which we wholeheartedly agreed with but would not have thought of on our own. He was extremely responsive to texts and always answered every question regardless of how trivial it may have seemed. Another thing that impressed us was that he stayed on the job from start to finish unlike other landscapers where the head guy leaves and hopes the crew totally understood what was to be done. Colby and his crew worked extremely hard to complete our new landscape and cleaned up like they had never been there. We couldn't be happier and would recommend him and ShurLawn to absolutely anyone especially my family & best friends. Colby is an outstanding young man ~ you will not be disappointed!!

Shurlawn Inc was nothing short of spectacular on our landscape design on our recently purchased new home. We worked with Colby, who is in charge of one of their landscaping crews, and Colby saw the project through from design to implementation. Colby was on the job site every minute that his crew was there. From start to end, the process was professional, and extremely timely. Colby new we had to work around several other crews associated with new builds (grading, sod, etc.) and he not only collaborated with those groups, he made sure that the work that needed done prior to those crews arriving was done, rain or shine. This included working overtime into evening hours and weekends to ensure that his equipment didn't ruin our newly lain sod. The firepit was beautiful, and the two retaining walls are statement pieces. Colby also suggested a few ideas for a set of steps running from our basement walkout to our backyard area, and it is stunning. We get compliments every time we have company. In addition to the outstanding work and timeliness, Shurlawn was priced at a fraction of the cost of other estimates that we received for comparable work. They didn't go over budget, and billing was timely and our experience was nothing short of perfect.

We could not have had a better experience than we had with Colby and his crew! We landscaped, planted trees, put in garden boxes, removed the brick edging in favor of a natural edge, incorporated a dry stream bed, removed a tree trimmed up a huge pine, cleared out landscape clutter and in the end created a peaceful, park-like retreat in our backyard! Colby was a dream to communicate with- responded to every question immediately. He was friendly, professional and accommodating. He worked right alongside his crew to ensure everything was done correctly! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

Colby was EXCELLENT to work with. The crew showed up early and worked late. You just don't find blue collar workers like that anymore very often. With this being our first home, we didn't know where to start on design. Colby gave us coaching and guidance all throughout our project. He was easy to get ahold of and very professional. We can not say enough about the professionalism of the Shurlawn team. Colby worked directly with us to help develop a spectacular landscape around our newly built pool. Colby takes pride in his work and was always there when we needed him for an unexpected issue or last minute change. He even helped us with things that were not exactly his task! We received quotes from several landscaping companies and by far Shurlawn was the most fair and reasonable and they did an absolute fantastic job! Our backyard looks amazing! Colby and his crew are the best!

We had extensive landscaping done by Shurlawn. After meeting with us and walking the yard, Colby provided a well thought out plan that reflected our preferences.. They were on schedule for the work and in constant touch during the installation. I particularly appreciate the effort to identify sprinklers and move them so they could be located by the sprinkler guys after the landscaping was done (as apposed to cut or bury them). The end result has been to turn our yard into an absolute stunning oasis. We were very please with Shurlawn and would recommend them without hesitation. Ps. we have worked with one of the really big companies in town and Shurlawn is a better value as well.

I was so fortunate to have found Shurlawn to install my beautiful backyard landscaping. I started with a bare lawn and electrical boxes and finished with an lovely array of big and colorful plants.. My neighbors appreciate the dramatic yard makeover as much as I do. Shurlawn is a family operation and they are terrific people with great ideas and are a joy to work with. We wanted to finish the landscaping of our front lawn. Colby came by and we talked through ideas. He helped come up with a plan that reused what we already had and helped us add in new plants to fill in the gaps. When the day came, the job was complete in about 2 hours. It looks great, exactly as we had imagined. And they even took care to select some rocks that complement the landscaping and match our house! They did a great job. They also came right around the time they had promised us (early May) and I definitely thought the work was fairly priced. We have more landscaping projects to do. We will definitely be calling Shurlawn for help with those in the future.

Colby and his crew did a fabulous job of mulching my flower beds. They are very professional. I appreciate the care they took to carefully mulch around all my perennials.
