One of the worst experience. Their product is outdated. I just wanted wifi controlled garage opener and when I told technician I'm not interested in Guardian opener, the technician called his supervisor and both of them convinced me that I need to replace the whole thing which I definitely didn't need it. I spent $1,500 on the repair that normally would cost less then $750 with different company. I called costumer service and they said that they will investigate this matter but never even called me back. It's a company that certainly looking to sell their outdated product no matter what costumer needs are.

Might have given these people a good rating but I was charged $350 for a $40 spring and a bushing. I was told the total cost was $500 in the quote which I thought was way to high but I needed the door repaired. when I got home I found out they had charged me $515.75 without telling me it was more than I was quoted. Maybe you should find a better place to get your repairs. These people can not be trusted to tell you the truth.

BEWARE! Dont fall for their deceptive practices, they will try to over charge for everthing they can, if you let them. The elderly and disabled veterans are there favorite targets. They change their company name to stay under the radar, but their real name is "Garage Door Services" out of Carrollton, TX. They operate and handle most of their deals from a call center, making you think that they are a locally owned company. Please dont fall for this company, they advertise mostly under " Nieghborhood Garage Door Service" here in San Antonio. They will try to sell you cheap equipment and will not honor their lifetime warranty when it quits working. I had to learn the hard way, so pls dont fall for their deceptive tactics. I would give them a big fat "0" if could, but unfortunately I can't.

Do not use this company if you are wise I have had to call them 3 to 4 times $900 bill took supplies with them that I paid for good luck if you do decide to go with this company..finally got the work done what a nightmare

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY. Simple, horrible customer service. I bought a door with their 'proudly offer' 'lifetime warranty'. The door broke. They sent out a tech. He confirmed the door broke within the first five years so it was covered (that was surprise one as lifetime seems to mean five years for them). His boss says they don't do business with that door company and then tried to sell me a new door with today's 'special discount'. Client services, Josh, when I read him below said 'our website says one thing, our contract says another'. Disgusting. Dishonorable. Don't believe them. This is a big chain that Does NOT stand by their warranty work. Used them in Houston to replace motor and braces on a 3 year old townhouse. Motor went out 9 months later. They have every angle covered so as NOT TO COVER THEIR LIVETIME WARRANTY! Stay away !

For the sake of your sanity, do NOT use this company. (I'm writing about the Kansas City location - couldn't find a listing for them specifically, but I've read many similar reviews for them elsewhere.) Let's start from the beginning. We had this company come out last October to install an opener on one side of our two-car garage. Our garage is a strange layout, which is why we had to call them to come do it. The tech said it'd be no problem to install, and sure enough, after about three hours, we had a fully functioning opener after multiple other companies told us this wasn't possible with the way our garage was laid out. We were thrilled. The tech then told us that if we had him come back to do the other door within six months, he'd do the second door for $600. Jump to last week, when we called to have them come out and install an opener on the second door. A tech was sent out on Saturday (a different tech than who previously worked on our other door), and after looking at everything for about 10 minutes, informed us there was no way he could do it for $600, and that the tech who promised us that no longer worked there. He said they could do it for $700 to break even. In my opinion, the correct way to handle that would have been to honor the original promised price and eat the cost, but whatever - it was still a good deal, so we agreed. He then tells us he can't do it today, because he's fairly new and doesn't know how to install the opener with our garage layout. We agree to have him come out the next day between 1-2pm with a manager to help him. Sunday rolls around, and by 2pm, nobody has showed up. At almost 3pm, the main office finally calls us to say that now they won't be able to do it today. They want to reschedule to a time during the week - which won't work because my husband and I both work full-time. She says she'll call back. 30 minutes later, she calls back and says they'll be out between 4:30 and 5. 5pm rolls around, and guess what? No shows. My husband calls the office, and they say they'll call back. Another 30 minutes go by, and they finally call saying they'll be there no later than 6:15. You can guess by now that they weren't there by 6:15. My husband called the office AGAIN (and of course they had to call us back), and she said they'd be at our house in 15 minutes. 25 minutes later (now past 7pm), they finally show. The manager (Justin, I think) says they'll be done no later than 8:30pm. Mind you, we have a 4-month-old son who goes to bed between 7pm and 8pm, and the garage door they were working on is right below his nursery. Not ideal. As it turns out, they were there until about 9:30pm. The first time they said it was done, the door opened about 1.5-2 inches less than the other door, which won't work because my husband drives a truck and it's a tight fit as it is through the doors. The manager proceeds to tell my husband that he's not sure how else to do it. Really? You have the other door right next to you for reference. You can't look at it and figure it out? My husband then makes a suggestion based on something the other tech did to the first door, and what do you know, it works. My husband literally told them how to do it. But then, the door won't seal all the way. By the end of the night, they basically left saying it was as good as it was ever going to get, and the manager told us he didn't know what else he could do. Oh, and after all this trouble, they tried to charge us an extra $90 for a keypad, which had been included with the other door and was supposed to have been with this one as well. Now here we are, and our door doesn't seal completely, AND it still opens about an inch less than the other one. My husband put in countless calls yesterday to their main office trying to get ahold of a manager. He did once, but nothing was resolved and they've basically blown us off ever since. This is insane, and I wish we would've never had them come out to do the other door. They're supposed to come out today to fix it, but I have zero faith they'll get the job done, let alone even show up. Oh, and we STILL have yet to get a call back from a manager. Absolutely ridiculous. I have no idea how they're still in business.

They canceled my install appointment 3 times before they showed up. When they finally showed up they were three hours late (6pm) and stayed til midnight putting in my garage door. The garage door worked for 40 days and then fell off of the rails they had installed, almost damaging my very expensive door. When I called to get them out to fix it, they demanded $90 dollars plus labor because I was outside of the 30 day warranty for their work.

Great service and nice work performed. Nick, the technician, was awesome. Very good communicator who explained the problem and outlined the solution. I'm very impressed with the quality of the Gardian system that was installed.

Gave quick assessment of the issue, explained why the issue occurred, and provided me with multiple options at different costs to fix it. My garage door is working way better than before!

Yes, the gentleman who came was knowledgeable, gave me the quote before the work began, was certainly skilled and efficient and cleaned up after the job was complete. My only concern is the price. I wanted this job done and done quickly which was why I went ahead and authorized it but, had I gone to my old tried and true provider "Genie of Fairview" the cost would have been $200 less. Needless to say, the next time I have work done I will be returning to my former purveyor of service. One certainly pays for prompt service and yes, it was worth the cost. We had a car stolen from our driveway and we certainly did not want another day of parking in the driveway when a secure spot was available. That's my tale of woe, thanks for listening.

My garage opener was replace by a very efficient technician name Raul. He also oiled my track making the opening and closing of my door quiet. I received 2 remote controls, a keypad on the outside and a new door opener for a very good price-under $500.00. The work was done quickly and professionally. The service I received was excellent. I would give this company a 5 star rating and recommend them.
