We want to thank Roger and his entire team for the incredible job they did with our landscaping design, installation, and water mitigation on our property. We started planning prior to our garage and sundeck construction started and we believe this was a key component in how everything turned out at the end of our 2 ½ year project. The ideas and wants we had collected over the years of living in our home turned into a designed plan. It was exciting to see everything we dreamed of on paper! We ended up modifying our plans several times due to expanding the scope of our original plan. Roger and Michael walked along side of us and made changes and updated our plans. Our project was completed in 2 parts. First was the hardscape before winter arrived and then we finished the following summer with sprinklers, plants, and mulch. This turned out to be perfect timing because we could live through a winter and watch how the snow fell, icy areas, and water flowed during the spring melt time. In addition to our landscape design around our home and garage, they created a design for an asphalt driveway which mitigates all water flow away from our home. We know that the extensive mitigation that was added to our project will withstand the variety of storms that have moved through our area in the past couple of years. Accent Landscapes did a wonderful job remodeling our front yard. They took it from worn out, dead trees to a gorgeous front yard in two weeks. Accent Landscaping was recommended by our builder, Tiffany Homes, as a good, solid landscaping firm. Roger Haywood met with us on site and we shared with him our vision for low maintenance, low water landscaping the would be appropriate for our site that experiences exceptionally strong winds and lots of deer. We developed our landscape plan with his designer, Michael Becker, and shared with him our ideas. We’re not from the Colorado Springs area, so we really relied on Michael Becker’s expertise to design a plan that was low maintenance with as much deer resistant materials as possible. They started the actual construction in late January, which we thought was crazy considering the weather. The design included several large boulder retaining walls and Gerry, Juan and his crew worked in some wicked weather. The first few days they had to shovel the snow off the ground to even start work! The crew worked through February and March with the retaining walls and initial grading and irrigation piping. By May they had the plantings completed and the turf established. Fortunately, we’ve had good rainfall this summer and along with the drip irrigation and sprinkler system they installed, the plantings, turf, and wildflower seed all took off. Late during construction, we added several aspen trees to the design. They handled this change without any problems and incorporated these very quickly. Overall, we’re very pleased with the design and installation of the landscaping that Accent Landscaping and Design completed for our property. We would highly recommend them to other clients that want a complete landscape design for their property.

Accent landscape designed and installed our landscaping on our new home in Cordera. After meeting with us to understand our thoughts and desires they presented their plan and sat down and reviewed and modified it to meet our desires. We truly feel that it is the best looking yard on our street. Their employee's and staff were very professional and got after the project and got it completed per schedule. The following spring, we were contacted by them to schedule an inspection to ensure everything had taken and survived the first winter. After their inspection a few plants were replaced and the yard continued to thrive. We have been very pleased with all aspects of the relationship which was developed.

Reached out to Accent Landscapes for a landscape design for our retirement home build in Cordera. Roger Haywood asked for some information to get an idea of what we were specifically looking for. We had no idea since we never had a home built and didn’t know what would really grow here. Roger and his landscape designer took a draft landscape plan that I had developed and helped us transform the plan that would meet Cordera HOA rules and regulations. We had a very specific budget since we used a lot of our additional money for upgrades inside our new home. Within two weeks he sent us a proposed design with some very beautiful trees and foliage that would really enhance our yard. Roger was very professional and patient with us since as I kept making change after change during the process. He was very quick to respond when called or emailed. A few years ago, we had a house built and got a bid from both Accent landscaping and a competitor. We decided to go with the competitor as the price was better and we've regretted it ever since. We ended up hiring Accent this year (2019) to fix some of the messes that the first company left and Accent did a fantastic job!! Nearly every house in our cul de sac has now had Accent do some or all of their landscaping and everyone of them has had nothing but GREAT things to say about their work. Roger and his team at Accent Landscapes literally transformed the entrance of my new home with the hardscape as well as lighting and plants. My neighbors literally flocked to my driveway daily to see the enhancements. Several began upgrades of their own. Not only did Accent Landscapes serve us well, they were good neighbors to those who may have impacted by trucks and light noise by complimentary grading their rock driveways and removing dead trees. Accent Landscaping Inc. is a company that lives up to their promises. They always communicated with me. They started and finished my landscaping project on time and with great detail. Roger listened to my needs, created a scaled landscaping plan, and the team followed through as planned. Gerry, the field supervisor, and Mike, the foreman were fun and pleasant to work with. All in all, the job consisted of blocking out a newly built house behind our house. A 60ft long X 20ft wide X 5ft high mound with mulch and boulders housing eighteen beautiful evergreens was created. If you want an imaginative transformation of your yard/lot, then Accent is definitely the people to hire. When they finished with our back yard, it appeared to have doubled in size. The design fit in perfectly with the area we live in and is now an enjoyable yard for our family activities. The main reason we needed landscaping done was to re-grade our lot because there were potential flooding issues that could have compromised our foundation and lower level. They understand water drainage extremely well and when the deluge came in August, one day after they completed the project, our house sat protected and we had no worries. A few small problems popped up as a result of the incredible volume of water that overwhelmed the intended stream/drainage path. They were quick to come out and assess what was happening and were able to reassure us that our house will be fine and when everything dried out, they would correct the areas that were overwhelmed. They came back as promised and made a beautiful extension to our berm and did some adjustments to the grade due to the washouts. Sure enough, a week after they completed a new downpour hit our area and created this beautiful river flowing where it was supposed to flow and no washouts. These guys are amazing!

We hired Accent Landscapes a little over 10 years ago and based on their exceptional work, we asked them to come back to perform additional landscaping. They came thru again! Not only did they perform with the highest quality and professionalism but went over and above expectations.

Accent transitioned sprinkler lines from our HOA areas over to ours, then beautifully xeriscaped a large portion of our property. They listened to our needs and selected attractive and responsible plants. Additionally, they completely transformed our pergola to new and gorgeous by staining and sealing it methodically, as well as recovering our grill and bar surround with faux stone and granite countertop. Accent did a wonderful job initially working with us to design our landscaping. We are visual people, Roger took the time to draft the design so we could see it before signing off on the job. The entire staff was so helpful and the lawn looks just as good today as it did in early 2009.

Accent Landscapes did an amazing job in the design and construction of our landscaping. Our home and lot burned during the 2012 CO wildfires so the challenge was significant. Roger and his team made terrific recommendations on how to best re-landscape the property. This included adding beautiful rock and siloam stone retaining walls, graceful swales and gentle slopes. Their selection of plants not only helped recover the natural beauty of our neighborhood, they were also selected to resist damage by our local widelife. His team worked diligently under sometimes extreme adverse fall and winter weather conditions to complete the project on time and within the quoted budget. Accent Landscaping installed all of the landscaping for our new home, including landscape design, plantings, hardscapes, sod, irrigation, fencing and landscape lighting. They performed all of these tasks on time and on budget. We found them to be extremely professional, very accommodating to all of our desires, and thoroughly a pleasure to work with. We had our original landscaping done by somewhat of a "cut rate" company many in our neighborhood had used and wish we had just gone with Accent from the outset. We would have saved ourselves a significant amount of money in the long run. Roger and his team are very professional and helped our family develop a landscape and drainage plan that is functional and beautiful!

Accent Landscapes provided us with a backyard to relax and unwind. They extended our patio, built a fire pit, built a rock wall to accommodate seating, built a dry creek (that becomes a wet creek in rainfall), used flowers and trees appropriate for Colorado. The knowledge of their work was represented in the time frame given from start to end by completing it as stated. Even when changes were made to the original plan, they were professional in making the accommodations. We live on 2.5 acres open to several neighbors and the work done makes the backyard feel like we are secluded. We receive compliments today after several years since completion.

Roger and his crew landscaped my backyard in July 2014. Roger had done the original landscaping in 2003 when our house was new but it was time to dress the area up as we had redone our patio. Roger helped us really think through what we wanted in our back yard, and how we would use it. Our finished product is everything we wanted -- large trees to provide privacy, an in ground firepit that has become a popluar gathering spot, a water feature to muffle traffic sounds, and a large flagstone area for entertaining. We have had intimate dinner parties and large cocktail parties, complete with a band for dancing. The space is perfect. He and his workers are professional, respectful, responsive, and clean up after themselves.
