I love my collections. I am blessed with
a lot of space to keep them, in an old house that is historically
inspiring.. I have old yardsticks in a tall metal can, brass and crystal
candlesticks along the top of a long bookcase, fancy soaps in a big jar
in the bathroom, dinner bells and kerosene lanterns behind glass in the
kitchen, and Bakelite and wooden radios throughout the house. I am on
the lookout for small-ish stained glass windows for a future wall
installation.

I have beautiful old doorknobs in a clear vase. Some of them are colored
glass. They catch the morning sun for a few hours and it's stunning!
I'd love some advice on a non-cluttery way to light them at other times
of the day, that fits with a 1930 art deco vibe.

I also have a lot of small Victorian calling cards. How would you display them so that both sides can be seen?

I also need an idea to make the

open-back shelf a little more art deco-ish. I am thinking about replacing the router with one of those new decorator ones.
