Our house was a converted Wesleyan Chapel, hence the shape of the mirror (a very inexpensive garden mirror.) The space was awkward and ugly with boxing, WC too big, basin too small, so we ripped it out and started afresh, including the new Georgian bar window with monkey-tail handle.
The pullcord for the light/fan is threaded with old necklace beads. Mixed the greenish-greyish paint on the loo wall to match the French-made wallpaper - a few expensive rolls drastically marked down in a bargain bin. The benches are salvaged scaffold planks, stained, shaped to avoid the door frame, & varnished; which hide plumbing at skirting level, and give visitors somewhere to put a handbag etc. without obstructing a necessary inspection hatch. there were also coat hooks on the back of the door. Flooring was wood planks.
The elongated oval shape allowed the basin to fit the narrow bench. Backsplash made of spare tiles from upstairs bathroom. The gold basin, matching waste trap, and bamboo-look gold tap gave it a real wow factor. Everyone who viewed the house loved this powder room, even the men.

I'm loving all of the powder room shares and as well as Houzz's picks . That where I got my inspiration. The ceilings are too tall to get it all in the photos.

The French antique trumeau mirror looks fabulous. I also like the Farmhouse style spaces. All very elegant and lovely!
