I fell and hit my head on ice this winter. Now I have a concussion and am told to limit my screen time.
As it turns out I can’t watch TV, play on my phone, or my l pad. . . No more than half an hour a day.

I am in the middle of a renovation for myself, and realize how much time I have been wasting. So much gets done when you aren’t on a screen. Now the renovation does not include a place for a TV where I can see it at all times. . I will actually sit at my darling little kitchen table to eat, instead of in the family room in front of the TV. I will spend my time being productive, working on hobbies I never had time to do before. Now I have a blanket over my 60 inch TV because I can’t be exposed to the blue waves, or something to that point. Now I listen to the news, and those stupid shows that did not deserve my time I simply turn off. So my whole design has to be changed. Thank god for hitting my head. Sometimes it takes something outside of yourself.

Sylvia sylvester: I'm sorry to hear about your accident but glad that you're improving your life as a result. I gave up TV years ago (except for the occasional BBT episode) but I'm still wedded to my computer. I document everything (being organized takes time but ultimately saves time, unlike TV which mostly wastes time) and the computer helps me do that. Someday...I hope well be able to store things 'online' by speaking them, rather than typing them.
