OK, a comment for a debate, but only because I'm trying to understand how others view colors (not that I'm saying you're wrong, Melissa!).
In picture 8 (painting on wall, black lampshade, subtle striped couch), what color is the picture and the pillow?
To me, the pillow looks a silvery blue. The painting, though diffused, I would say was more of a blue with just a touch of green - but I still would call it blue.
The reason I'm asking is that my husband and I put different names on colors and this seemed the perfect way to ask how others would classify the colors in this photo. I wonder if it's a different way of viewing wavelengths, or a different word of the same color ...
