If you can't afford to gut your old bathroom, the best way to obtain a new look is wallpaper. I have probably wallpaper ed my grey and burgundy tiled bathroom at least every 5 years for the 30 years I've lived in my home. From floral to funky and now toile, it's a fun transformation. Never had a peeling problem and have always done the job myself. Try it, you might like it!
