And the Hans Wegner Shell Chairs in the before photo of No. 4? People can't be forced to live with classics but those are super comfy and are beautiful examples of 1960s danish design. I hope they went to someone who loves them.

All are such great examples of profound transformation for the better! #s 1 and 2 really speak to my color loving heart. # 4 is SUCH an improvement- who ever thought that brown was a good idea for the fireplace wall? It is also a fantastic example the power of lightening the rafters and ceiling to change the energy of a room. It is still rustic but no longer oppressive. I am mystified however by the sculpture placed on the ottoman/coffee table. It is a bit too poop-like for my taste, but was probably just put there for the photo shoot.
