Am I the only person on earth who hates the 6 throw pillows on every seating or sleeping surface? These end up on the floor or pushed to the side or squished around to find a comfortable spot. I understand that they make a design statement, but surely there are other ways.

....add something funny in every room. For instance, our credenza in the foyer has to framed vintage family pictures. Only thing is, is that it's not our family!! They're pics I grabbed at an antique shop of some shady looking families. I love it. People always comment how lovely our family pics are. Our fireplace mantel has real family pics framed with books used as risers.... 2 of the books are "the Deciever" and "portrait of a Marriage". Mind you, I've been married for over 20 yrs and very happy. It's hilarious that nobody picks up on it.
