We recently hid our AC unit a different way in our urban brownstone style home - we moved it ten feet up on an exterior wall using a bracket. Best to do when replacing the unit anyway. This added valuable space to a tight pathway

Be sure to ask you AC person how much clearance to leave between your AC and any structures or plants. Mine said at least 3 feet all around for both ventilation and access.
