Great tips. Proper lighting is very important when you making photos.

I would like to add that it’s also essential to know what things photographer needs to capture in each room of the property. This post https://rentberry.com/blog/real-estate-photography-tips will recommend how to make the best possible photos of different parts of home. There are also some recommendations concerning the retouching of photos and a short description of equipment that is needed to make great photos.

As a former advertising guy, I would suggest that you get as close to the way the average person sees the room as possible. People do not walk around houses in the middle of the day with the lights on. And people emotionally respond to things that look real. So you want to light the room the way people normally see it. That means no lights, and certainly no flashes. Natural light is harder to do, but having the thing look fake is fatal.

Jackie,

I've noticed a lot of architectural photographers not turning on the lights. Designers, such as myself who do concept to completion may feel differently. I look at the duller look of just natural light and feel something is missing. I look at a gorgeous room with a awesome lighting feature and want those lights turned on!

I have a pro camera but alas, I wasted my money...just can't even with classes get the hang of it for my before pictures. I use a pro for completed projects.
