I am a things person so it can easily get overdone. I make a game of finding one thing to throw, donate or store away everyday. Sometimes it is only a magazine or books for the library but it does work.

This was a very compassionate article. The writer sounds so flexible in her approaches to different clients and their needs. This is the first article from a home organizer that left me feeling like I might actually consider using one in the future. In the meantime, I always keep a bag by the back door for donations. If I realize I don't want something, it goes in the bag right then. Things actually leave my house this way, which is a victory.
