My daughter, Lynne, loves the raised bed idea, but it is expensive if you "do it right".

If you know anybody with a lot of cedar that they want gone, I bet they will give you all the branches, small tree trunks, or whatever you could ever want to build raised beds. That's what I used....

Love the hanging garden poetry plaque. I am about to have my city yard planned/ designed out and sigh, what to do with the ugly gas grill? I want the garden to be filled with plants and a cooking thing just doesn't fit in with my image BUT I can have one of these plaques installed by it (facing the windows, sitting areas) to create a wonderful visual.
