We lived just outside of Philadelphia in the mid 70's and there was a "spaceship" turned into a sandwich shop on Township Line Rd. Sadly it was destroyed by fire.

If I ever visit England, I have somewhere to go where I will not feel so homesick. Having lived in a Futuro for most of my life, the mansions of the rich and famous they show on line that are supposed to "make your jaw drop" all look no better than slums to me. The Futuro is more than just a style of architecture. It is a way of life and once you can get in you never want to turn back.

I could never live in one, but I love it just the same because it's such a radical departure from any other architectural style. Restoring this one was a labor of love, and I'm glad to see that there is so much appreciation for it.
