“I keep my space tidy and I don’t hold on to things if they are not beautiful and useful...”

This reminds me of the article about Marie Kondo and her method for de-cluttering, which seemed to result in more comments than any other article I've seen on Houzz. I think it is interesting that someone who is a creative person feels that clutter gets in the way of her performing her craft.

These photos are rubbish but this is my "creative corner". I believe it is as necessary for the creative person to have a a permanent work space as much as having a permanent kitchen to cook in and for the space to have a name that says what it is. I may have commandeered the dining room but it's psychologically beneficial to call it something other than "the dining room".
