I've had the same one for 25 years. Easy maintenance and great cut in a vase. Just leave it be and water about once a week or less

This is my baby philodendron, bought 20 years ago 11 inches high, today it's 6 feet tall. It has the best place on top of the stairwell, next to a sunny window and not far from a heater. I find it as important to clean it's leaves as to water it.

I have a huge plant that I inherited. The roots are coming out of the drain holes and has circled the water basin many times. Can I cut the roots off (at the drain holes) so I can re-pot it?
