Like the article especially about the plaster work, I still love to see this in houses
Would be very interested to know how you manage to get a 3m sofa in a house. We bought a 'normal' sofa for a 4 bed detached house and both arm rests had to be removed to get it through the door way

Not really in love with mixing old and new or rustic and modern but will be doing just that with our new home when complete, as we live in the country, so a large well used but freshened up timber table will take pride of place rather than a perfect select grade table and being too afraid to scratch it.

Always loved a hall stand and I've yet to see a modern one, so that will greet visitors at the door and although I have only a handfull of what one might call "special" items to put behind glass, I have a partially modern or plain display cabinet for these items.

I still think it will all work in together, in such an otherwise modern home, as I believe if I love it, then it will work for me and that is all that matters, as I should only be pleasing myself!!!

Actually like the fabric or rug bed head, have seen this done a few times and it is very interesting but I must stop at the porcelain display, that's a little too far for me ha-ha
