@kajazia . If you google "how to make a concrete countertop" you will find lots of videos on the subject that will show you how to make a very fine cement slurry to fill those holes. After that you will need to re grind/polish the top. It's very doable and not as tricky as it sounds. After that you will have a perfect surface.

@kajazia: there are food safe sealers available for concrete. Use your browser and search "Food safe sealers for concrete." They are available online and in box stores or places that sell concrete.

My Caesarstone also has chips, and I hate the constant water marks. On the other hand, I put a gorgeous granite in my vacation home, which gets tons of use as a rental, and it always looks awesome. I think the secret to granite is to use a more obscure one, ie not one that they sell in big box stores. It's seeing the same color/pattern over and over in everyone's homes that we get sick of.
