I like the hot tub but the rest doesn't resonate a warm and inviting back yard to me.

I'm thinking all the trees along the driveway are going to be a nightmare in 10 years. But I love the 'privacy' entrance into the backyard from the driveway.

It is a bit "hard" looking. Maybe it just hasn't grown in yet with plantings that can be easily maintained and can add some color and texture.
