Lucy, I've been interested in making hibiscus tea, but have never seen anyone doing it. Do you use the whole flower with stamen and pistol, or just the petals? Any other hints on making hibiscus tea?

We use only the petals. After it is dried just put the petal in boiling water like any other tea and then discard the petals of course before you drink it. It is very sweet and delicious. Go on line and read the health benefits.

Of course you need to rinse the petals before you put them in the dehydrator. We also add lemon to the tea. It seems to enhance the flavor.
