A follow up to my earlier comment. We had a terrible storm two days ago. Wind blowing driving rain sideways. In that storm we lost one of our ocotillos. Sad day today as the landscaper comes to remove

So sad to lose a beauty like an ocotillo.

Hi I just planted an ocotillo that was already rooted in a pot and had leaves all over it....my question is can I tie up the tops of it to encourage more of an upright growth? right now some of the bigger canes are spreading out, I'll attach a phote, any info is greatly appreciated...
