I absolutely LOVE my spider wart or trinity plant some call it here in Al. I started with just a couple and it has spread like wildfire. I have a problem with cogon grass taking over my yard and the spider wart wins out every time. I actually have some white volunteers which looks amazing in contrast to the blues and purple. I love how resilient it is, handles drought well and never fails to come back each year, more prolific than the last. One of my favorites for sure. Thanks for the article. Great read.

My mom had one of these growing up and it was my favorite plant! It is so beautiful.

This plant is so invasive. Be careful where you plant. The seedlings come up everywhere.
