Guest Picks: 20 Kids' Bedroom Chandeliers
Choose from princess-y pink, peppy mod and more for your little one's overhead lighting
My 3-year-old daughter wants me to redecorate her bedroom. Exciting, right? The downside is that she wants a princess bedroom — think giant decals and a huge, twinkling pumpkin carriage bed.
That's not going to happen. I'm hoping, however, that by making some smart purchases, I can give her the fairytale glamour she craves without selling out to covering the room with Disney merchandise. The first piece I'm seeking is a fabulous lighting fixture.

Kids Daisy-Inspired Chandelier Light
How lovely would this chandelier look with purple walls to pop against? It's fresh and sweet, just like my daughter.
Luce Chandelier
Simple and elegant with a touch of whimsy, this is sweet lighting if you're not looking to make a big statement.
Chandelier Monarch Butterfly Mobile, Purple by Dragon on the Fly
This ombre purple chandelier doesn't give off light, but man, is it lovely? It would make such a statement in front of a window or over a crib. You can also find DIY instructions on my blog.
Maskros Pendant Lamp
Have you seen the different blogger hacks for this lamp? Because you have to assemble all the little flowers, you can take the time to paint each one for a completely custom lighting fixture. My favorites are the gold ones with glass cups glued to the center of the flowers. So chic!
Butterfly Crystal Chandelier
This is so sweet for a girly garden room. I don't know a little girl who wouldn't love to drift off to sleep looking at it.
Tiffany Blue Chandelier Modern Vintage by Simply Salvage
Obviously I don't need to tell you why a Tiffany blue statement piece and your daughter will go together quite well. If you have a basic chandelier that has nice curves like this one, get yourself some blue spray paint and go to town. Just remember to finish it with a polyurethane sealant spray to really seal the deal.
Vintage Tole Chandelier by Vintage Chic Furniture
Tole chandeliers add so much character to a room, and the fun '50s colors are great to play off of.
Knappa Pendant Lamp
This is the perfect ceiling light for your contemporary chick. At that price I might even consider buying three and hanging them together at varying heights.
Venus 15" Pendant Chandelier in Hot Pink Translucent Capiz Shell
I have loved this pendant for a very, very long time but just didn't have a place for a beautiful pink shell light fixture. I think it would be perfect for a room where you just want to use bright pops of pink as your accent color.
Pink Chandelier by Twelve Timbers
How fantastic is this? This faux candelabra chandelier is a fun twist. It's perfect for a youthful room, but it still packs on the glamour with its pink glittered surface. This might be the perfect light for my daughter's room!
The Original Medium Bubble Chandelier by PELLE
This fun and modern design would certainly add class and style to your little one's space.
Ramblin Rose Antique Cream with Pink Six-Light Chandelier
For the classic vintage-chic girl's room, this chandelier looks like it's straight out of an American Girl story.
Kids Hot Pink Fabric Hanging Lamp
Add a simple pop of color for a perfect mod room. This also comes in a bright tangerine. Yummy.
Stacked Glass Ball Pink Five Light Mini Chandelier
With the classic girly pink and crystal baubles, this is about as girly-girl as one can get!
Tea Time Chandelier
As a DIYer, I'm having a hard time not going crazy thinking that I could make this myself, especially after seeing the price tag. Nonetheless, it is an amazing piece. If your princess serves tea to teddy, and you can afford it, this would be pretty darn amazing to have.
Rhododendron Chandelier
Once again, this one is pricey, to say the least, but it's amazing when it glows. The only problem besides the price is that I'd never want to go to sleep.
Yellow Pagoda Chandelier
I'm a sucker for pagodas. Period. Throw in some sunshine yellow, and I'm officially smitten. This would be fun for an eclectic space.
Beaded Heaven Custom Beaded Chandelier by Simply Salvage
This one is a bit more of a splurge than the others, but my goodness, it is gorgeous! And the best part is that it's completely customizable. Gotta love handmade art!
Crystal Light Charms
If all else fails, you can take any standard metal chandelier and add Light Charms to create a beautiful and glamorous chandelier. The charms come in all different color crystals and attach to the fixture with a small magnet, making them as temporary as you'd like them to be. It's such a smart idea.
