Now that the holidays are over, it's time to freshen things up around the house. January is a great time to take advantage of the many White Sales and change out the kids' bedding for a bright start to the new year. Here are some of my favorite modern quilts for kids. — Elaina from Fun Finds for Mom
This neutral quilt would be perfect in a modern nursery, especially if your little guy's name starts with an O.
This Equilateral Triangles Crib Quilt by Carson Converse is actually two quilts in one: sunny triangles on one side and lemony stripes on the other.
My daughter would probably pick this one out of the bunch. Pink and flowers are two of her favorites.
Barbara Perrino makes some really striking quilts, like this clean and simple "bricks" design.
The beautiful quilts made by FunQuilts are an investment, for sure, but the good news is that the company also sells quilt kits for those who have the skills to make their own.
This cozy Zig Zag Chocolate Quilt by Dwell is made of 100 percent organic cotton.
Chocolate brown and blue is one of my favorite color combinations, especially when paired in things like this fun geometric quilt.
This quilt by Denyse Schmidt is called Swirly Rose, but it reminds me of freshly picked oranges. I could design a whole room around it.
Look closely and you'll see that Soft-Maps are quilted maps of cities and neighborhoods around the world, including New York, Paris, London, San Francisco and Washington, D.C. They're perfect for the urban tot!
This is a quilt pattern called "Wonky Little Houses." I love its playful look. It was designed by my friend (and super talented artist) Carrie Bloomston.
This is another great quilt made by Barbara Perrino. It's called Orange Boxes, and it is sized for a baby.
White happens to be my favorite color, so I wouldn't mind having this textured Ruched Quilt from Serena & Lily on my own bed. It's so fresh!
These bold red and white stripes would be at home in a nautical-themed bedroom for kids.
If you love Carson Converse's quilt designs but aren't yet ready to make the investment, check out his smaller stroller quilts and greeting cards too.
This quilt has a real bohemian vibe with all of its multicolored rings and circles.
If you have a dino lover, here's a fun tower of dinosaurs on a quilt from The Land of Nod. Plus, there are some great pillows for your future paleontologist to snuggle up with too.
These reversible Cabin Quilts from Serena & Lily are the perfect basic pieces for layering with patterned bedding. The contrasting red stitch on this one is a nice touch.
This Aqua Diamond Quilt from Serena & Lily looks like pure luxury. It also comes in punch, lilac, pink and citrine.
