Great article! I do wonder if the Dark-Sky Movement and concern for nocturnal animals will slow the demand for these projects.

Turn the lights off when they are not being used! Rather than alternative energy sources how about using less energy? I was at a wedding venue last night - still had T12s from Frankenstein days - they were redundant lighting for cleaning/set up I guess but changing to LED would pay back quickly and rebates are available.
