Who enlarged the map??? I have a small powder room that I want to paper with a world map. I've taken pictures of bathroom signs from around the world, in all languages/signs that will be great to put up!

This is I think the 3rd or 4th Houzz article I've seen about maps. One was an office, another a child's room. So, I did some research. American Geographical Society Library stores over 5000 maps from around the world, including the one featured in this article - 1911 Map of City of Vancouver. Many of the maps are prior to 19th century and some ancient! I saw a world map from 1452! A high quality digital copy is like very inexpensive ($15.00) less if a student. Then you can send it to your favorite printing company to enlarge it. Of course, how large and the quality offered will dictate the cost.

Majesty Maps of British Columbia Canada, which the condo owners used, also has a digital map collection and they print/enlarge them.

I think it's an awesome idea to use maps that mean something. Perhaps a country from where your ancestors came. You can use them as art, too - just frame the map!
