Amazing looking gardens!

Many times people forget the use of evergreens in a flower or perennial bed. Not only can the evergreens help to highlight or showcase some of the flowering plants, they also will add interest in the fall, winter and spring months before the shrubs and perennials come back.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE consider stories like this to include a landscape diagram, showing the names of the plants in the pictures. It is hard for most of us to know which plants are which...and although the photographs are beautiful, I'd love a sectional drawing of the names, colors, and heights of suggested plants. A straight line one, a curve one, and even an oval...would be great for those of us that are somewhat challenged at doing small home gardens like those shown. A reader could then take the plan to the nursery, and if basic measurements were included, they could be used to expand or modify them for their own home gardens and pathways.
