We take off our shoes as soon as we come in the house. It's really easy once you get used to it. Much healthier for us.

I am so disappointed to read from you: wood walk ways to be 'painted' There is little I dislike more than painted wood for walk ways or decks! Perhaps it's due to where I live (in the Northwest Territories of Canada) but even in most parts of Canada that I have lived. Painted wood walk ways and decks are 'dangerous' to walk on when cold and/or wet! I would 'never' suggest it.
