My drawer inserts came from Amazon. For those who think a neat kitchen is hard to maintain, it's more a matter of habit. If you start out with stuff organized, with a place for items that are important in your kitchen, you'll just return it to that spot when you're done. Lots of kitchens are small with fewer drawers and it gets harder to maintain order. That, to me, calls for more ingenuity so you can manage the items you need without feeling like the whole room is constantly a mess.

Getting rid of your children can help your organization to stay organized! (Only kidding, guys! No hate responses please...)

RedRyder, getting rid of the husband would help, too. But I'm pretty fond of him. He's actually more organized than I am, typically, but doesn't get my hard to explain reasoning for why I keep this utensil in that drawer. So I'll keep searching when I can't find my pastry brush. It really can't be in too many places.

When I moved into my flat a year ago and put my things in categories in the places best suited and they are still there. I only have what I use and always put back where it belongs so I do not understand this article. They are take. Out drawer by drawer periodically to clean and that’s it.
