To the many suggestions above, I would add that the host might provide a small pair of scissors and a tiny sewing kit for the guest, and don't forget to equip the room with a waste can.

Divine Interiors mentioned it, but an obvious place to charge your phone would be a good one. Wifi password on a card is also a brilliant idea!
