Nice look behind the tub. We used Lumonyx for our onyx wall. Backlit and it looks great.

I love this idea, but from reading the article from TylerCo, it looks like you have to use a bunch of smaller panels cut and trimmed to fit.

This seems very labor intensive to me and could run up project cost. Is there a better way of doing this?

Yes, you are correct doing this onsite would be very labor intensive, but there is one other option.

If you can, have your stone guy or contractor make a CAD drawing of the stone being backlit. Then you can have a company like ours produce a custom edge-lit panel in just one piece.

If you countertop is not too complicated, a simple rectangle, we don't even need the CAD drawing. We would just need the size.

Typical lead times for custom panels are only about a week.
