Great renovation and like the new look. I would have ignored the oak in the rest of the house. No need to try to have incorporated it. It seems really foreign to the rest of the wonderful kitchen space.

I would have knocked down the wall separating the kitchen from the dining room and lined the outside kitchen wall with cabinets and refrigerator. It would provide space for a much wider island and an additional prep sink. Is there a reason why the homeowner wanted to keep the wall?
