I have lived on linoleum my entire life and I love it. It is easy to clean, it feels good to walk on and it is terrific for pets and children. Twenty years ago when I was adding on my kitchen, my decorator looked like she was having a stroke when I told her I was using linoleum instead of hardwoods or tile. It is beautiful and I am so glad I went with what I was used to.

Hi Bud and Studio Z,

Great to see this article. We're thinking of using a linoleum in our kitchen remodel and interested in the brand of linoleum you are showing in the photo with the deep purple doggie bed/rug by the door and the zig zag green and beige pattern on the floor.

Shout out to Tampa for me - I'm a Tampan born and raised, now out in California!

Hi Camillemariea,

Thanks for your kind words. That photo is of my own kitchen, and had I known Bud would use it in an article, I would have "styled" the space before taking photos.

The flooring is Forbo Marmoleum composition tiles in Jade (3222) and Barley (707). We installed those tiles about 5 years ago and they still look like new.

Don't hesitate to reply here or email me at dzuber(at)studiozarch.com if you have any other questions.
