Great article. I cant speak for American Electrical codes but in Canada, keep in mind that any receptacles in an enclosed space need a defeat switch to interrupt power to the receptacle when the drawer/ door is closed. This will add to the complexity and cost of the install. Even if its not code where you are, it is still a good idea.

Agreed, great article. Love the drawer outlet, worth doing it up to code, Cirrus.. we use electric toothbrushes and this would be perfect to hide them. Also big fan of floor outlets in the living room... allows you to hide cords from lamps and great for laptop charges without a wire going across the room.
