So much to do in the southwest garden this time of year! Thank you for the great tips!

I also like to start annuals from seed in the fall for spring blooms, such as calendula, nasturtium, Virginia stocks, nemophila, and borage.

Fall too is ideal for getting trees into the ground to establish their root systems over the cooler months.
