We found a very good one through our local Benjamin Moore paint store. They had helped us pick colours to paint up the place because it hadn't been done in over 20 years. (I gather teal and dusty rose are no longer in.)

Below are photographs of the same room in the same house for sale - empty and staged. Once staged, it was under contact in a few days.

Decent staging works because younger home buyers have a difficult time of visualizing how space can look. Some people don't want to spend the time figuring out where to put furniture. Staging helps by showing how and where.

My problem is that with an empty room, I can visualize several different ways of putting in a sofa, lamps, chairs, tables, beds, chests, etc. If I enter a staged room, I lose that vision and can only see how the furniture should be placed.

I find staging to be limited for certain markets. But then that's my opinion and observation.
