I try to leave seeds for the birds and small animals over winter and worry a bit more about clean up in the spring.

One suggestion- after deciding where you are going to rotate crops set up any trellises and supports in the new area as the season ends. This allows you to plant much sooner and also is a reminder where you rotated certain crops.

Tracy - with a grain of salt and depending where you live. I left trellises up over winter and we had 8 ft plus snow drifts - when they melt they crush the trellises - one was handmade by my brother as a gift - its first season. Still functional just not as pretty.
