I just planted 20 plants in my garden here in NE Ohio, where gardening is so much more enjoyable in the fall. Plenty to look forward to in the Spring!!!

Definitely binge-planting season here in Rhode Island! I put in a new island bed, and I'm in the process of berming up 2 beds that get flooded in spring. After this weekend I'm going to need to order another load of top soil/compost blend to make raised beds along the garage for a bunch of young lilacs that have been languishing/struggling. And then there are the pass-along plants from friends doing their autumnal gardening that need to find a new home among my beds. If only we still had 14 hours of daylight I might get it all done!
